The Memory Lane Jazz Ensemble

The Memory Lane Jazz Ensemble is part of the Cobb New Horizons Band organization. The ensemble has been together for more than ten years and is led by its founder, Carl Merwin. The Ensemble has 19 seasoned musicians who perform a variety of traditional big band, swing, dance, jazz and popular compositions including vocals. We currently play over 200 arrangements. The ensemble performs several times a month for community and private events including fund raisers, concerts, dinners and dances.

The Ensemble's uncompensated musicians volunteer their time and talents for the enjoyment and challenge of playing great music for you. Performance honorariums, which are very reasonable and appreciated, help defray the expenses of the a 501(c)3 charitable organization. The ensemble rehearses each Monday at 9:00 am at the Kennesaw State University Marching Band building, 3305 Busbee Drive, Kennesaw, GA.
